Richard is a performance coach, author and researcher.

PERFORMANCE OBSESSED

He produces thought leadership on the conditions for optimizing human performance derived from research areas such as performance psychology, neuroscience, happiness economics and investor resilience and applies it to human beings obsessed with results such as sales professionals, entrepreneurs, global brands and investors.

He has applied ‘performance-based thinking’ to over twelve publications on subjects such as wealth, branding, business, leadership, personal and professional success, life and motivation.

WEALTH MANAGEMENT, MERCHANT BANKING BEGINNINGS & EXPERTISE

Starting in the wealth management industry in 1992, Richard started his career as a cold call cowboy making three hundred cold calls a day everyday for a Bay Street firm. Following a ten-year record of raising over $3B in assets, Richard was invited to design and deliver a certificate program at Schulich School of Business (Executive Development Centre) York University on the subject of marketing and selling wealth management services. To date Richard has raised over $7B in assets worldwide and coached hundreds of financial advisors, wealth managers and family offices.

Richard has worked and collaborated with wealth management and banking brands such as ING, Trimark Mutual Funds, BNP Paribas, Societé Generale, Fidelity Investments, CIBC, HSBC, TD Bank, Royal Bank (RBC) , Scotiabank and National Bank of Canada to name a few.

ACCOMPLISHED SPEAKER

Since 2006 Richard has toured with US Presidents William Jefferson Clinton, George W. Bush , President Barack Obama and Donald J. Trump as well as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He’s shared the stage with the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Ellen Degeneres, Tony Robbins, Sir Richard Branson, Robin Sharma, Dr. Paul Stoltz, Phil Town and Deepak Chopra to name a few.

LEGENDARY

Richard is the only Canadian to have been gifted two NBA Championship rings back-to-back during the Miami Heat Championship run in 2012 and 2013 and remains a performance advisor to Coach Juwan Howard (Miami Heat).

Richard provided thought leadership to brands such as Google, Chanel, GQ, Dragons’ Den, Sony Television, Callaway Golf, Bentley Motors, Rolls Royce, Remy Martin, Pagani Automobili and the National Basketball Association (NBRA). Richard has also advised legendary celebrities such as Drake, Ice Cube, Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Dominique Wilkins, Charles Oakley and The Professor.

 

His most beloved accomplishment to date is his son Mateo.
